At Health Action in South Sudan (HASS), we believe that health extends far beyond the absence of disease. Our Protection Program is specifically designed to create and foster such environments, with a focus on supporting vulnerable groups, including women, children, and other marginalized communities. By working to prevent violence, exploitation, and neglect, we aim to empower individuals and communities to live with dignity and without fear. Through our program, we strive to ensure that everyone has access to the protection and support they need to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.

Our Response to Gender-Based Violence (GBV)

We provide survivor-centered support through:

• Confidential case management

• Free legal aid

• Psychosocial counseling

• Safe referrals to essential services

Our mobile protection teams and trained community volunteers reach remote areas where formal protection structures are weak or absent.
